Pre- Registration Policy

Deadline for pre-registration is Friday, February 1, 2008. After this date, registrations must be processed on-site at the commencement of the meeting. No faxes or email will be accepted in the office after this date. Registrations will not be processed without a completed form and payment information.

Cancellations

Written requests received before February 1 will be honored (less a $50 processing fee). Substitutes are accepted at any time. No refunds after February 1 without documentation of a medical emergency or flight cancellation. Cancellations by phone are not accepted. If you register in advance and do not attend or cancel, you are still responsible for the full registration fee!

Hotel

Individuals need to register for the meeting BEFORE reserving a room at the Renaissance Washington Hotel.

When registering online the system will direct registrants to the NARUC Housing Webpage to make reservations. If you register by fax or mail, you will be emailed instructions on reserving a room. Rooms in the NARUC block are for NARUC registrants only. One reservation per registrant is allowed. Reservations by non-registrants or multiple hotel reservations are subject to immediate cancellation or rate change. Hotel reservations must be cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a penalty of one night's room and tax.

The cutoff date to reserve rooms at the Renaissance Washington Hotel is January 28, 2008. Rooms reserved after that date are subject to a rate increase.

PLEASE NOTE: Rooms booked through methods other than the NARUC housing page are subject to different rates and cannot be adjusted by NARUC.
